Time has changed and we have moved on

Time has changed and we have moved on
Nothing seems the same a wind of change has blown
Like shifting sands yesterday moved on to today
New edifices have come up and rooms altered
Those places which were rich in memories have gone
Little is there left for us to remember the sweet moments
Callously have they changed the remnants of the past

Countryside peace

What a lovely place my countryside

Cool is the breeze and soothing is the river

The mountain is green and verdant

What a sight towering over the landscape

The woods are dark and deep with tall trees

The birds look cheery happily flying around

The sight is awe-inspiring and the peace overwhelming

The stars are sprawled across the night sky

Far away from the din, it is quiet and peaceful

My hinterland is a sight for sore eyes a place for tired bones

Traipsing through the woods

Traipsing through the woods
The wild nature, the crisp breeze blowing
All so soothing filling the mind with peace
I admire all the gifts of nature in their glory and beauty
Thank the Lord for His bounties so much He has bestowed.
The pristine woods and the flowing stream like soothing potion they work
A perfect escape from the milling crowd the noise and pollution
The effect is calming and soothing
The mind refreshes and peace overwhelms
