Mulberry Tree

Under the shahtoot (mulberry) tree I sit on a warm idyllic afternoon with the soothing breeze caressing my body and relaxing my mind as my fingers clean the vegetables preparing for lunch
The mind wanders into yesterdays when I was young and this tree which has grown old with time, like me, was my place, with the cuckoos hopping around, to rest the fatigued mind and body 
I silently sit and reminisce about the good old days- the halcyon days of youth, when activities swirled around me and I joyously lived the moment.
